On August 12 and 13, the festival “Krásný ztráty Live 70” took place in the amphitheater in Loket nad Ohří, celebrating the 70th birthday of the main star Michal Prokop. The highlight of the festival was the first ever live performance of the song Město ER, in the original arrangement, featuring the Carlsbad Symphony Orchestra. The reissued version of the eponymous album was also launched in Loket. The renowned album Město ER, which Michal Prokop recorded in 1971, features fundamental lyrics of Josef Kainar. By the way, Josef Kainar’s 100th birth anniversary was commemorated in 2017. The whole concert lasting 120 minutes was made into a 50-minute television footage by our production company. The show includes the most famous Michal Prokop’s songs (e.g. Kolej Yesterdy, Bitva o Karlův Most, Poprvé a naposledy, Zloději času, Zatmění, Stodolní, Kartáček na zuby). The grand finale consists in almost 20-minute performance of the song Město ER featuring the Carlsbad Symphony Orchestra. The footage closes with the song V baru jménem Krásný ztráty. The TV recording was directed by David Sís while Vít Bělohradský was the director of photography. The production of the entire recording was provided by Logline Production in co-production with Joy’s Garage and Michal Prokop. Broadcasting rights to broadcast the recording of the concert were acquired by Czech Television.
