A crazy reality cooking show hosted by Emanuele Ridi and Matěj Ruppert.
Since 2018, the “Manu and Matěj on the Road” project has brought audiences entertaining and sometimes hard-to-believe situations, spiced up with fantastic recipes prepared by this seemingly mismatched duo.
The aim of the show is to present the diversity of Italian cuisine and the tourist attractions of specific regions in a playful, unobtrusive, and humorous way.
Each beloved season of the project offers insights into Italian gastronomy - local produce and ingredients, regional specialties, and, as always, detailed recipes to inspire viewers. The series also educates about local history, traditions, and architecture, all enriched by Italian sunshine and nature.
Together, and occasionally on their own, they prepare typical local dishes. They cook in restaurants with local chefs, in rented houses, gardens, by the sea, or in the mountains. The duo visits renowned and lesser-known regional culinary establishments, cheese factories, charcuteries, confectioneries, bakeries, oil mills, wineries, and various farms.
Hosts Emanuele Ridi and Matěj Ruppert have already introduced viewers to Italian regions such as Trentino, Alto Adige, Valle d'Aosta, Piedmont, Emilia-Romagna, Lazio, Campania, Calabria, Basilicata, Apulia, Molise, and Abruzzo, with more regions to follow in future seasons!
In 2024, Logline Production created the sixth season of this series.
